Providing a safe place to Live, to Grow, to Thrive.

What We Do

Residents will have a daily routine where each helps with everyday household tasks to aid in developing personal responsibilities. Furthermore, there will be outings where residents can participate in community events and activities. In addition, we endeavor to provide the residents’ families with peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are in a safe, comfortable, and nurturing place.

Why We Exist

The Waymaker Place is a faith-based, private pay organization for men ages 18 and up who struggle with challenges that make it difficult to live independently.

By providing a safe and encouraging location and community, our residents thrive.

Better together!

We have a heart for those we serve!

Who We Are

As a faith-based organization, our goal is to provide a positive, loving environment with the goal of each resident living to his fullest potential.  We are a non-profit, private pay location with a heart for those we serve. The Way Maker Place is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is located in beautiful Springfield, Tennessee, in Robertson County and services the surrounding area.

Our Story

In 2010 we were told that our son, Joshua, had bipolar disorder and/or schizoaffective disorder. Josh had just turned 17 years old.  This “rocked our world” affecting every member of our family. It brought us closer together as a family and also caused turmoil which pushed us apart. It’s been a journey that has changed us and motivated us to make a difference for not only our son, but other families as well.
